Bob Canon founded Canon Real Estate in 1983 with a simple goal: Focus on excellent customer service. That principle continues to guide the agency today. Growing up, he played multiple sports, and the concept of teamwork – creating a team of agents that back each other up – has been central to the business. As an independent local agency, Canon Real Estate has the flexibility to focus on the client and to make sure that deals are successful for everyone involved,
he says.

He adds that the agency has developed a broad network of professionals – plumbers, electricians, masons, and more – that it can connect buyers and sellers to: “Whatever needs to be done, we’ll do,” Bob says. He’s particularly proud that Canon Real Estate is a perennial winner of the Valley Advocate’s Best of the Valley award for real estate agencies. “People don’t vote for you unless they are happy and satisfied.”

Bob and his wife, Dale, live in Easthampton. They have three children and six grandchildren, and watching their grandsons’ sports games is a favorite pastime. The Canon agency is a longtime supporter of local nonprofits and youth programs, and Bob is one of the organizers of a golf tournament that raises about $20,000 annually for high school athletics in Easthampton.
