A Westhampton native, Jocelyn attended local schools and graduated from Brown University. She worked in talent representation in the entertainment industry in New York, Los Angeles and abroad for 10 years, gaining experience with complex negotiations and agreements before returning to Western Massachusetts – because it’s the absolute best place to live.

Jocelyn’s work at Canon Real Estate is guided by a strong sense of ethics and a commitment to transparency. She believes that helping buyers and sellers communicate is key to closing deals that make all parties happy with the results.

Responsiveness to her clients and attention to detail are key to her approach – whether it be returning calls, texts and emails promptly, seeking out contractors and area suppliers to address needs that commonly arise during the closing process or finding the right lender for a situations that requires a bit of creativity. She’ll even check out that scary basement for you.

Buying or selling is an important decision and is often an adventure. Jocelyn’s goal is to make that adventure as seamless and enjoyable as possible.

“My partner and I were first-time homebuyers and had a million questions about the entire process – this was on top of navigating house-hunting during the COVID-19 pandemic. Jocelyn was like a rock – understanding, available, patient, steady, reliable, and direct. She gave her own thoughts and recommendations as we toured homes, taught us things to look-out for, and helped us manage our expectations of how things worked. Jocelyn responded to emails and calls almost immediately, like magic. She was quick to acknowledge when she wasn’t sure about something and would take matters into her own hands to find out answers for us. We had several problems with our mortgage company and Jocelyn was speedy about getting some hurdles cleared. On top of all this, we loved her sense of humor. We would 100% recommend her to anyone – we feel like we really lucked out on many parts of the homebuying process as first-timers, but we are most especially grateful to have worked with her. We plan to work with her again when we sell or move (which hopefully won’t be for a while!).” – Alex

“We were enthusiastically referred to Jocelyn by friends of ours who had purchased their first home with her. We’re very grateful to our friends for that recommendation, as Jocelyn was wonderful to work with! We purchased our first home with Jocelyn’s help in 2019. We were deer in the headlights, and she helped us through every step of the process with great skill. She has excellent knowledge of what to look for in a property, and what to avoid. We relied on her expertise to guide us through every aspect of buying our house, and she responded very quickly to any questions or concerns we had. On top of that, Jocelyn is a kind, cheerful person who is a sheer joy to work with. We even had a few laughs. We’re thrilled with our new home and very highly recommend working with Jocelyn.” – Andrea

“Jocelyn was super to work with in every way. Our house, being on piers on the river, was a challenge to sell in some ways. She took us through the process seamlessly and gave us excellent advice on matters large and small — and always with a direct, upbeat attitude. She made what is in some ways a stressful experience into a manageable part of life, always letting us know where we were in the process and what needed to happen next. Excellent communication skills — and a lot of fun as well.” – Andree
